Security Audits
Of recent times many of our existing clients have taken advantage of a security audit. We can provide more details of the areas covered by the audit, but basically we are looking at 1/2 day to 1 day on your site where we ask questions as well a physical inspection of servers, desktops and your network set-up. |
|
 |
Once the initial questionnaire has been completed which requires attendance from a senior person from your staff for 1-2 hours, we can review your systems set up with minimal assistance.
The cost of the audit will depend on the size and complexity of your site please feel free to give us a call for a quotation.
We will provide you with a fixed price before commencement of work. The deliverables from the audit include a detailed written report and network diagram, covering the results of our review of current security procedures with recommendations for improvements, which will also include physical security, entry points for Mail and internet, authentications, Data Structure and integrity on servers, Mail/IIS Server and desktops, Network configuration and shares, rectification of any Vulnerabilities including application of Microsoft Vulnerability security patches.
Benefits of having us conduct this audit include:-
- Implementation of recommendations from report should minimise the likelihood of virus, malicious code hacker attacks or unauthorised intrusions, saving the time and cost of systems outages, loss of data or breaches of security.
- Provide your Administrators and Management a clearer idea of what potential threats there could be, the implications in terms of expense to rectify, the value of lost or damaged assets, and measures to avoid or combat these threats.
- Based on our recommendations contingency plans can be put into place so that the organisation is better prepared for the various forms of attack.
- Use our recommendations as the basis for the development of a comprehensive security policy.
