InVircible Corporate

This new version of InVircible offers
network InVircible users the ability to centrally monitor
and control their Virus Defence Systems from a central console
or consoles.
InVircible Corporate has a range
of powerful features, which provide the Systems Administrator
with complete central control of the Virus Defence System.
A summary of some of the main facilities includes: -
- Status- The administrator can view the status of the clients
with IV installed by all users, only active users, stopped
clients, and clients that did not check in or have unknown
status. Such users details as the build running, license
file used, expiry date and Interceptor options selected
can be viewed by double clicking on the relevant computername.
- Corporate Smart Update - a fully automated process where
corporate servers poll our website and inference rules updates
or new builds of InVircible are downloaded, and distributed
immediately to network desktop and servers without the need
for rebooting.
- Control- Makes it a simple task to control clients by
forcing updates, messaging users, reviewing and editing
registry keys or executing a local program on the client's
desktop from the central console. These actions can be performed
on a specific computer or globally.
- Reports- Shows the administrator actions that have occurred
under Events, Real time, as well as Batch processes such
as the Macro Sweeper and Audit and Integrity Sweeper. There
are user tabs to select to show all or just important messages,
such as the (SAM) Startup Applications Monitor or reports
of suspicious files. Pop up alerts appear when IV is minimised
allowing monitoring of important events at all times.
- Options- are available in terms of report generation and
provides a list of possible messages, and explanations of
how to interpret these reports.
- Configuration- is achieved by being able to make changes
to ivconfig.ini or the .ini file that is distributed through
the network.
The ability to centrally monitor and
control an entire network from a single point provides
the systems administrator with a powerful tool to improve
security and reduce the time required to maintain the Virus
Defence System.
Fully automated updating will further
reduce admin time and cost.
InVircible Corporate will be able to advise
of an impending virus attack so that users can be warned
and security tightened.
The complete messaging communication available
between the administrator and all users will ensure updates
and other software events are implemented successfully.
InVircible Corporate Real time 'pop
up' reports will keep the administrator fully aware
of important events occurring on the network as they
happen, so that timely remedial action can be taken.
