What
is Cryptainer?
Cryptainer is software that creates an encrypted
container (vitual drives). It functions like any other
drive (c:\ or d:\) on your hard drive. The mere act
of dragging the file into the Cryptainer encrypts
it and dragging it out decrypts it. Cryptainer
can only be viewed, accessed, browsed and modified
by the user who has the key to open it.
Why do I need Cryptainer?
The easiest way to ensure privacy of your data.
Cryptainer guarantees the sanctity of your
data by harnessing the power of a 448 bit encryption
protocol that would take the all the computers in
the world working together 1032 years to
decipher. Longer than the age of the universe! And
definitely longer than you'll need it for!
Using Cryptainer , you can
secure your data, be it in any form textual, graphical,
audio or video.
What do I need to know to use
Cryptainer?
Answer: Precious little! If you can use Windows
Explorer, you can use Cryptainer . There is
really nothing that you need to learn.
Am I allowed to use Cryptainer?
Yes, Cryptainer is a product of non-US origin, and
hence subject to no export restrictions. It can be
used freely anywhere in the world even though it contains
strong encryption technology. (USA developed encryption
products are subect to export restriction if greater
